As a company that seeks out ways to foster its relationships with clients, Brush Masters has added two new employees to the estimating department. Brush Masters believes Joe Sundt and Ryan Tollefson will provide our clients MORE RESOURCES. MORE SOLUTIONS. Read more about Joe and Ryan below.
Joe Sundt
Background
Originally, from Cokato, MN, Joe attended Augsburg College and Majored in Business and Economics. He started painting in college and continued painting for 9 years until he recently accepted a role as Estimator with Brush Masters. Joe is married and lives in Blaine, MN; his favorite color is blue. For hobbies, he enjoys playing hockey (year round), furniture refinishing, and likes leisurely outdoor activities such as golf, fishing and concerts. His dream vacation is a trip to Norway to see the beautiful fjords.
Why did you join Brush Masters
Joe heard many great things about the company from friends and builders; he felt that there was a good fit with the knowledge he acquired from his background in painting and the ability to provide accurate and detailed estimates to clients. Additionally, Joe liked that the Brush Masters team would be supportive of any additional learning needs he might have to grow in his knowledge of estimating in order to better service the company’s clients.

Ryan Tollefson

Ryan grew up in Lino Lakes, MN. He completed his college degree at Metropolitan State University in Finance while working full-time as an estimator. He brings seven years of estimating experience in the construction industry to the Brush Masters team. Ryan is married to Lisa and the proud parent of 4-year-old daughter Olivia. He resides in Andover, MN and is extremely active in his daughter’s sports: swimming, soccer, gymnastics, t-ball and dance.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys ice fishing, visiting resorts such as White Haven B&B in Minocqua, WI and delights in the idea of owning a boat.
Why did you join Brush Masters
Ryan became increasingly interested in joining the Brush Masters team as he learned about the atmosphere during conversations with company employees. He feels that there is a good match between his personal values and the companies, especially, the emphasis on family and work life balance. He looks forward to learning as much as he can about paint and drywall so that he can deliver the best estimates to Brush Masters clients.
